Daniel Choi joined Paradigm’s Energy Research Team in Calgary as a Senior Associate in January 2011. During his tenure, Daniel has supported our Calgary research franchise and played an instrumental part in its successful growth. We are pleased to promote Daniel to Analyst, Domestic Oil & Gas. Previously, Daniel had four years of experience in equity research working for both boutique and bank-own investment dealers. He has an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
In addition, we are pleased to announce a recent addition to Paradigm’s Calgary office. Andrew Roorda joined the Corporate Finance team in February 2012 as a Corporate Finance Analyst working with Warren Holmes and Kevin Smith. After graduating from Acadia University in 2010 with a BBA (and four years of varsity football experience), Andrew obtained a Masters of Science in Economics & Business from Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam in The Netherlands in 2011.

Paradigm Capital is pleased to announce Barry Richards has penned his final research report and has joined our Investment Banking team. As a result of Barry’s transition into the Banking team, two of Paradigm’s senior Growth Research Analysts (Gabriel Leung and Daniel Kim) will assume research coverage for the issuers previously covered by Barry. |

Paradigm Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of David Sears as Head of Equity Trading with immediate effect. David has over twenty five years experience in the investment industry, including ten years with a major international firm prior to joining Paradigm as a Partner over a year ago. In addition to maintaining his current client relationships and firm responsibilities, David will manage our equity trading operation.
